In the technical audit, we examine your website’s infrastructure: server response times, SSL configuration, HTTP status codes, redirect chains, and the robots.txt file. We test whether search engines can find and index all relevant pages. This also includes checking XML sitemaps, canonical tags, and hreflang attributes for multilingual websites. We evaluate the CMS for up-to-date status, security, and extensibility. We document outdated plugins, missing updates, or insecure configurations along with their priority levels. Database performance and the hosting environment are also factored into the evaluation. Incorrect configurations can slow down your entire website, which is why we analyze this area particularly thoroughly. The result is a technical report with prioritized actions that you can forward directly to your development team. If needed, our web development team will handle the implementation.

In our SEO audit, we analyze all the factors that influence your visibility in search engines. These include on-page factors such as title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and internal linking. We check whether your most important keywords are covered and whether the page structure aligns with your target audience’s search intent. We identify duplicate content, thin pages, and orphaned URLs and assess their impact on your rankings. We also take the competitive landscape into account: How do you stack up against your competitors, and where are there untapped opportunities? We examine which keywords don’t yet have a corresponding page and where your existing content could be optimized for better rankings. The report includes a prioritized list of SEO actions that you can implement internally or with our help.

Slow websites cost you visitors and rankings. We measure load times, Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS), and rendering behavior on desktop and mobile. We analyze images, fonts, JavaScript, and CSS for optimization potential. Caching strategies, lazy loading, and the order in which resources are loaded are all factored into our evaluation. We test your website’s performance under various network conditions to get a realistic picture of the user experience. For every issue identified, we provide a concrete solution with an estimated effort and expected outcome. In the UX audit, we assess how well your website guides visitors. To do this, we analyze navigation, page hierarchy, user flows, and the placement of CTAs and forms. Heatmaps and session recordings show us where visitors click, where they scroll, and where they bounce. We evaluate the information architecture: Can visitors find the most important content quickly? Does the order of the information align with your target audience’s decision-making process? We also test mobile usability separately, paying special attention to touch-friendly spacing and click targets. We document the results with screenshots and specific suggestions for improvement, organized by effort and impact. Each suggestion for improvement includes a rationale explaining why the change makes sense. The UX/UI design provides the foundation for this.

Content determines whether visitors stay or leave. In our content audit, we evaluate the text quality, relevance to your target audience, keyword coverage, and SEO performance of every key page. We identify thin content, outdated information, and missing pages, as well as duplicate content and keyword cannibalization. We also evaluate the content structure: Do headlines, paragraph lengths, and visual elements align with your target audience’s reading habits? We check whether your texts answer the questions your customers actually have. We provide recommendations for new content, revisions, and deletions, with specific ideas for each page. The BFSG has been in effect since June 2025. We check your website for compliance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines (AA): contrast, font sizes, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, alt text, and form labels. We test interactive elements for usability without a mouse. We also evaluate the semantic HTML structure, as it forms the foundation for assistive technologies. We use actual screen reader software and keyboard navigation to identify practical issues. For each non-conformity, we document the finding, the relevant WCAG guideline, and a specific proposed solution. We also check PDF documents and embedded media for accessibility.
