Here's How We Run a WordPress Project
Requirements and Concept
Together, we’ll determine what your website needs to accomplish: target audiences, features, content, and integrations. This will result in a concept that includes the site structure, navigation logic, and technical framework. During this phase, we’ll also define which plugins to use and where custom code is the better solution. This way, both sides know exactly what the project entails from the very beginning.
Design and Prototype
We develop the visual design based on the concept. You’ll see drafts for the most important page types, provide feedback, and we’ll iterate until we’re satisfied with the result. Throughout this process, we always keep in mind how the design will be implemented in the CMS. Which elements can your team create on their own later, and where do fixed structures make more sense? This saves time during development and makes future maintenance easier.
Development and CMS Setup
We implement the design as clean code and set up WordPress with ACF PRO so that your team can manage content independently. This includes custom page templates, flexible content elements, and a clear structure in the backend. If needed, we develop custom functions or integrate third-party systems via APIs. Every component is documented and designed for ease of maintenance.
Testing and Launch
Before the site goes live, we’ll test the following in a staging environment: functionality, performance, responsiveness, and accessibility. Your team will receive training on the CMS and will be able to enter initial content on their own. Once everything is ready and you give the green light, the site will go live. After that, we’ll remain available to assist with maintenance, enhancements, or new requirements.
